AfyaBridge Cloud Security

A security engineering lab built around a simulated multi-country community-health platform. I designed the Google Cloud foundation and country boundaries, then built a keyless Terraform delivery path and validated the GitHub-to-Google Cloud control plane with real permission and trust-boundary tests.

- AI-assisted care. Built clinician-in-the-loop systems for patient questions and consultation support, keeping final clinical decisions with clinicians.
- Scale and reliability. Architect and maintain digital-health platforms serving more than 2,000 users daily.
- Product impact. Designed and deployed a WhatsApp maternal-care pathway combining appointment scheduling, automated health surveys, and personalized education, contributing to a 45% improvement in engagement.
- Infrastructure. Reduced server costs by 30% and improved application response times by 40% through application and infrastructure optimization.

About

I'm a product engineer based in Nairobi, Kenya. Over the last five years, I've built digital-health software used by patients, clinicians, and community health teams. Working close to production pushed my scope beyond interfaces into APIs, applied AI, payments, reliability, infrastructure, and security.

Alongside my professional work, I build Ticket Trove Africa and PawSuite, and I use AfyaBridge Cloud Security to go deeper on Google Cloud, DevSecOps, and security engineering. I do my best work where engineers are expected to understand the product and own the systems that make it dependable.
